Guidelines & Submission Information
The Hook's Seafood Kitchen Student Art Contest is open to any currently enrolled student in the Bellevue / Nashville area, grades 3 through 6.
Parents or teachers are to submit an original drawing or painting incorporating a nautical or maritime theme, on behalf of the student artist. Examples include crabs, lobsters, boats, anchors, starfish, sea horses, beach scenes and more! Winning artwork will be placed on display at the Bellevue restaurant. Thirty winning spots are available; winners will be invited to attend a VIP Artist Dinner!
Only original artwork will be considered. There is no maximum number of entries per student, however, each much be submitted separately.
Students can use crayon, marker, pencil, finger paints or watercolors. Artwork must be submitted in color, in JPG or PDF format. Winning artwork will be framed in 8.5 x 11 frame.
Hook's Seafood Kitchen will assume permanent ownership of the winning artwork, with credits given to the student artist and school attended. The artwork will remain on display as determined by the restaurant management. The winning artwork will be selected by a committee comprised of Hook's staff by the deadline noted below.
Duration of Contest
All entries must be received by 9pm on Wednesday, January 15, 2020. Winners will be notified via email by Wednesday, January 29, 2020. Winning artwork will be framed and hung on restaurant display wall and winners will receive invitation to the VIP Artist Dinner!
